Ahwazi Democratic Popular Front Do You Know ALAHWAZ ?? We had lands by the name of of Al-Sous, Naisan, and Alahwaz or Arabistan-the Arab land-as called by Iranians . The last ruler of Al-Ahwaz was named prince Kazaal Alkaaby(1861-1936) who struggled and tried to keep his country self-governed even though his neighbors big countries such as Iran and the Usmanies but the scales of interests has changed.
.
The battle between the west and the east started and the world was divided to two divisions thus friends became enemies and the neighbor became oppressive over his other neighbors and by that the Iranian government governed by the racist Reza Khan started to invade Al-ahwaz in April 1925 in special international and local circumstances. He entered with force and aggression and occupied my homeland. They captivated the prince Khazaal and transported him to Tehran and then assassinated him in the year of 1936. He dropped all human rights and took over all of Al-ahwaz and started persianlizing both the people, land, identity, and culture, He changed the arabic names replacing them with Persian names and that did not just include city and country names but also humans. Where Ahwazians were given a list of names and had limits to which names to choose for their new born children. They rubbed the land and water after possesing the oil and transporting it. They built habitation and transported hundreds and thousands of non-arab to Al-ahwaz and forced Arab Ahwazies to migrate to other Iranian cities or even to outside of Iran. This strategy has been carried out by former regime deliberately and it has been developed to worse against Ahwazi Arab people during the current fanatic Islamic regime of Iran. Our nation lived oppressed and anguished by the injustice, poverty, and deprivation, not fiding bread to feed on or even a simple job when Ahwaz is considered the second largest reserve fro oil in the world where Iran gets near 5 million Barrel of petrol daily. It is from this wealth and fortune that Iran builds its military forces and nuclear power. It is my Nation's wealth that Iran confiscated, it is my piece of bread of my Children's that has been stolen. It is from my petrol and oil that was found in 1911 only 14 years before the occupation of my homeland
While my people lived under poverty and deprivation, it is also forbidden to speak its Arabic language. They are also forbidden to wear their traditional Arabic clothing and forbidden even from building libraries and clubs. They are also forbidden to introduce or talk about their history, culture, past civilization and identity, and the reason for that is the Iranian Islamic regime killing them, and the executions are in the context of a brutal clamp-down on Ahwazi Arabs protesting against Iranian discrimination and persecution - designed to intimidate them into submission.
And it will exit from the darkness that was forced upon them by the Iranian invasion, now the Ahwazian nation is more determined than anytime before to stay up to date with the world around them and to participate with humanity in building life and fighting against terrorism and dictators. They will fight for the land, human and most important of all they will fight to return the human rights so they could achieve self-government and dignity to join the rest of the world in building a better happier life for the rest. Ahwazians people oppressed several times, yet without any compassion from anyon. On the 15th of April 2005, all the Ahwazians protested and went to streets screaming and shouting for their human rights seeking justice, and demanding to retrieve their rights, which will allow them to live just like any other nation
To talk with their mother tongue, to decide their own destiny, to be free, to be able to choose life and the way to live it(Self Determination)... that’s what the Ahwazian asked for… . Yes, the Ahwazians went to street to scream that they will not die; they are still living -although as prisoners. They wanted the Iranian authorities to know that their aggression, occupation and assassinations did not and will not do them any good. So, they should get out and let us Ahwazians live, just like anyone else on earth. What was the pay-back? It was brutal and harsh.. Mass detentions, capture of children and women and killing old and young men while burning others..... In addition several were put in Nylon bags and thrown in rivers to die. Maximum brutality was clearly shown in the ugly executions of men in the middle of the streets after claiming false accusation for them, in order to frighten the Ahwazians people.
Also, protestors were falsely accused of betrators working for Britain, the United Stated and other nations. Yes, as usual the pay-back was far away from sanity, not by any means HUMAN. We appeal to you to condemn the latest torture and wave of execution and call upon Iranian authorities to halt the imminent execution of the others. We also request that you call upon Iran to ensure due legal process in accordance with internationally recognized standards and to uphold its obligations with regard to civil and political rights, including the provision of equal rights to the religious and others nations such Ahwazi Arab as outlined in the Iranian constitution and various international conventions to which Iran is a signatory We ask you to obligate Iran to free the political prisoners and the idea and believe prisoners in all over so-called the geography mensuration of Iran. We ask you to obligate Iran to esteem the determining of destiny about the Ahwazian people by themselves accourding to the international laws. That’s what my people are asking the whole world for; my people are seeking freedom, justice and equality. They are asking to be the masters of their own land and to have the right to decide their own destiny. We are calling upon all the free nations of the world, all the good people.... is there anyone to answer? |
